Vietnam requires travelers from these countries to get a tourist e-visa PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If you try to board your flight without an e-visa you will be denied boarding (and if you can get a rush visa last minute you will pay 10-20x the normal cost).

You should request an e-visa at least 1 week prior to departing. They are relatively cheap ($25-50).

You have two options for getting an e-visa:

1) Through the self-serve government online portal. This is the cheapest way, but their form can be buggy and some credit cards will randomly not work. Official Link: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt
How-To Walkthrough for filling out that e-visa form. (Note: When you fill out that e-visa form field "full name in passport" be sure to include your middle name if it is shown in your passport, because any name mismatch between what you put on that e-visa form and what is shown in your passport can result in being denied entry at Vietnam immigration).

2) Via a visa agent who will handle everything for you, you pay $25 more for this, but if the online self-serve portal is giving you trouble this is easier. We recommend Jane SNVI's service. You can contact them via Facebook or email.
