Matti Ljungberg has worked in the SEO industry since starting as an intern in 2011. Over his career, he has held prominent SEO leadership roles at Danish agencies including Adtimize, Brand Movers, and 1260 A/S, managing campaigns for global brands like Sephora, Volkswagen, Jysk, and Santander.

Previously serving as AI & SEO Product Owner at Morningtrain, Matti currently focuses on AI-driven and programmatic SEO as the SEO Director at Cernel.com—which builds AI agents for e-commerce—and through his own consultancy, Mkris ApS. He is also the creator of CiteWhy, a free GEO tool that analyzes AI recommendations across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Mode.
